A few years ago, I loved this song:
“If you can see that I’m the one who understands you, been here all alone, so why can’t you see, you belong with me”
Yes! ‘You Belong With Me’ by Miss Swift. I found that song melancholy and sweet. At that time, Taylor Swift was in her juvenile stage of her life or career so her personality was more pure and exemplary. Now, Swift has grown into a stronger person where she is defensive and cynical in her songs. She continues to release hit songs and sold millions of her album. Today, the “Shake It Off” singer drops a new song and music video called “Look What You Make Me Do”. And can I tell you that it’s the talk of the town? Fans are saying that the song is an adverse response to Katy Perry, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian and other celebrities who are on her unfriend list. Perry and Swift had a prolonging beef between each other since 2013 according to an article on the Rolling Stone website. Between 2014- 2014 a trio of dancers on Swift’s Red World Tour had previously performed on Perry’s California Dreams trek; as later confirmed by dancer Lockhart Brownlie, that same threesome was then abruptly plundered by Perry (for her own Prismatic tour) in the midst of Swift’s Red trek says a source. Since then, the “California Girls and the “Blank Space” singers have not been on amicable terms. As for Kanye West, his ‘Famous’ song was the reason they fell apart. In the ‘Famous’ song featuring Rihanna he mentioned sleeping with Swift.
“I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bit*h famous”
Kanye said he asked for her approval of using her name by going over the verse with her before the song was release. But Taylor allegedly said that was untrue. She did not receive the song before it came out as promised. With this in mind, she dropped her new music video depicting that she has changed. The video demonstrates different characteristics of the ‘old’ Taylor Swift while throwing shades at celebrities who are now bad blooded to her. Isn’t this just too dramatic?
