Cassava Pone


Ingredients

2 medium cassava
1 small dried coconut grated
2 tbsp butter
1 cup sugar (or as much as you want)
¼ tsp black pepper
½ tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp salt
About ½ cup milk.

Preparation
• Peel, wash, grate and mix the cassava and coconut together.
• Add the other ingredients and enough milk to bind stiffly.
• Put the mixture into a greased pan, where it should be about 1 inch thick.
• Bake in a moderate oven for about 1 hour at 375 degree or until crisp and brown on top.
