Dj Crooks, born Audley Crooks from Brampton is a newcomer to the DJ scene. However, Music and DJing has been in his family for as long as he can remember. His father has had a passion for sound systems and has been a collector of vinyl and equipment for over 20 years. In that time, "Crooks" has endured sleeplessness nights to high power amplifiers, scratching and loud music while his father was selecting music in the basement.

It wasn't until he was in high school that he started taking advantage of what was before him. "I spent a lot of time mixing culture reggae and dancehall on 45s. Often doing the same mix over and over. Family was used to it." says Crooks.

Recently, DJ Crooks has made a name for himself DJing spinnin at parties in the GTA and attending events and learning more about the art of DJing.

What DJ Crooks is most known for is his versatility. Not many DJs mix different genres, but Crooks has a collection of House, HipHop, R&B, Reggae, Soca & Alternative Rock Music. "Living in such a diverse community inspires me to play and appreciate different types of music" says Crooks.

Audley "DJ Crooks" Crooks is currently studying and working in the Information Technology field but plans to keep spinnin' in the future.
