Jafar Burnett-Hinds - born in Brooklyn, New York, born from Barbadian Parents, Mary Burnett and the late Hayden ”Bells” Hinds. Born into a musical family, Jafar’s father was a lead singer in a Barbadian band named “The Outfit” which toured Canada and Parts of America in the late seventies.

Jafar moved to Barbados at the tender age of nine years old and fell in love with Soca music and the Crop Over festival.

Jafar also has many family members who are musicians oriented with the crop over festival - such as Mario Burnett(Bassist in “Double Xplojun”), Danny Hinds(dance choreographer), David Burnett(Festival Band Drummer).

Jafar has singin in the soca industry for three years now and has worked with artists such as Blood, Big Red, Daddy I-Roy, Red Plastic Bag and many more. Jafar loves music with all his soul and is destined to be the next soca superstar.
