Concert Venues in Toronto Vamp up Security after Manchester Attacks

The entire world has felt the effects of the Manchester Terror Attack which left 23 dead and over a hundred others injured after an Ariana Grande concert. In the wake of the event, this has prompted other music venues around the world to be more vigilant and secure in terms of who and what they let into the vicinity of the concert venue.

Live Nation, a massive entertainment company responsible for many large scale concerts and events, has rolled out new security measures to curb any possible terrorism in venues in the future.

The new measures limit concert goers to only a few bag options to carry their items in. Each concert goer is allowed to carry one bag that is the size of a small purse, clutch or wallet, or one bag that is a small to medium sized clear tote bag.

Backpacks, large tote bags, fanny packs and medium to large purses are not permitted, even if the bag is clear.

the new security measures will be in effect this summer at various venues across the Toronto area including Budweiser Stage.

What do you think of the new policies? Will this affect any of your summer concert plans?
